PNB is an Architecture, Interior and Landscape Studio based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. PNB is derived from the term “post and beam”, the main and general structural elements in construction. Our task is to build a bold, minimal and refined brand identity that reflects the values and philosophy of PNB based on the thorough research of architecture principles, structures, and materials.
The geometric arrangement of logotype reminds of the composition of architectural elements to achieve the construction’s flexibility, lighting and finally space. Posts and beams tell the story of architectural expression, function, and universality. These component’s connection and architectural themes continue throughout the matte and uncoated paper choice, distinctive typography, bold colors, and the print finishing.
Die-cuts are used on name cards, letterheads, folders, and other stationaries, giving the high-quality look. Moreover, this technique shows a playful interaction by connecting stationeries together.
“We endeavored to create an identity that honors PNB values and their strong philosophy of architecture.”
“Die-cuts promotes the uniqueness of PNB visual identity by giving the physical and conceptual connection between applications.”
